Presentation by Prof. Chik Patrick YUE on the progress of TD Program 2 – Reconfigurable ORUBC during the mid-cycle review on-site visit on our 6G AoE Project in Oct 2024
In Phase 1 of the project, the team has finished the architecture design and verification of the following Opto-Electronics Interconnection IC (OEIC):
- 56-Gb/s PAM4 TX (ESSCIRC 2023)
- 60-Gb/s PAM4 RX (JSSC 2023)
- 48-GHz PAM4 Optical RX (VLSI 2024)
In this OEIC design:
- Radiation theory of CM noise is clarified
- Close-loop controlling of CM noise is proposed
- CM noise cancellation circuit is proposed
