Prof. Khaled B. Letaief has received an honorary doctorate from the University of Johannesburg. The award was presented in recognition of his contributions to wireless communications, including his work on multiuser OFDM and 6G, and his research on machine learning in wireless communications. Letaief has also been recognized as one of the top 30 AI 2000 Most Influential Scholars in Internet of Things and was elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 2021.Related link on HKUST School of Engineering website
